Which UN convention of the child should be talked about more? (1 Viewer)

The UN set out a convention on the rights of the child which should be followed by all countries that are signed under the UN. Unfortunately this doesn’t happen. Which of these conventions do you think should be followed more than they are on a global scale? Personally I think the education and war ones. It is sad to think about how these aren’t rights globally

Theres so many that are super important but in the sense of one not talked about much I think one would be children who break the law. I think most people either just don’t consider that that happens or think that any children who break the law is a lost cause and to give up on them. The one about food, clothing, and education I think also isn’t talked much because people don’t think it happens or when they think it happens they think it’s something that’s only an issue in underdeveloped countries. But it happens everywhere, even first world countries.

Here we have a young offenders act for children who break the law but I am pretty sure that is not the case in many many other countries. It’s aim is to protect children and rehabilitate them back with new skills

Yeah, that’s definitely how it should be. Here I’m sure there’s stuff like that but I don’t know the extent of it, and I would think that there’s plenty of people here who are honestly against rehabilitation, even for kids.

RESPECT FOR CHILDREN'S VIEWS !!!! SO many parents do not take their children seriously which really affects them growing up and might even prevent them from speaking up if something happens to them because they will feel misunderstood and ignored

Children should be seen and heard! They have unique perspectives and should be viewed as important

I think all of these options would be valid but safety and protection for their rights need to be secured No child should have to experience such a dark life
