Lol trust me, I'm very aware of the weird quantum stuff as a former physics major. But the weird things that happen on the subatomic level and at light speed are still part of the real universe. They just seem unintuitive to us because we don't live in at those sizes or those speeds. We can still make predictions using quantum mechanics and relativity.

The idea of knowing that we are who we are has always been a question that interests me, and I think the simulation idea is cool too. But either way, I think it's best to operate under the assumption that everything is real, because everything around us seems to behave like a real universe anyway.

And if we were asleep the whole time, that would be one crazy detailed and strangely consistent dream.
