official title? I dont think there is a mother of kpop title. but there is a 'nations mother' title. but all are actresses I think.

btw there is a reason I argue with ppl saying 'xxx group are the princes of kpop'. shinee hold it as an official title in korea.

i don't think i have a definite answer for this. on most days i would say boa in a heartbeat but like, she herself would say "naw that's uhm jung hwa". and before both of them came kim wan sun. some more may even argue that it's hyori.

but yeah i'll go with either boa or uhm jung hwa. the impacts they have left on the industry cannot be denied. that said, i genuinely don't think we can really narrow down on one official answer cause there have been so many women who have left such lasting impacts on the industry.
