Its definitely between aespa, ive and newjeans in my opinion. But WHO is the TOP? Like 3rd gen there was BLACKPINK, Twice and Red Velvet but BLACKPINK was the one top.

I've written this on the other side but the question is never one of who is the top but rather what are the METRICS, CRITERIA and weightings of such to determine "topness"

let's take for a very simplified example - album sales

obviously the more album sales one has the better - right?
but that's only half the picture

do we go by total album sales?
album sales per comeback?
what of digipacks?
what about using total sales generated by album sales
what if group one has 4 members vs group 2 who has 8 - technically in order for group 2 to have as much profit individually (assuming ceteris paribus) they would have to sell twice as much as group 1

etc etc

I think it is between NJ and Aespa but I think Aespa will win the overall battle. Aespa has been consistent and stable… New Jeans has too much uncertainty due to their label and they had the impact, the chance to be at the top top but Hybe and Ador ruined that for them.
