I learned about the different meaning of each colour of packing peanuts. The color and shape sometimes indicate what it is made of and who made it. Green is 70% or possibly more recycled polystyrene, white is 70% or more virgin resin, and pink means an antistatic agent has been applied.​

Thankfully, no; most of the people I buy fron online have moved on to bubble wrap or crumpled paper.
