TV Who's watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo? (1 Viewer)

I'll be honest I'm having a hard time forcing myself to watch this show. I have bad feelings about watching a show that focuses on a main character with autism when the actor playing the character is not autistic themself.

If you are watching/watched it, did you enjoy it? I am trying hard to overlook the above but it just feels wrong still. I'm in the middle of episode 9 currently.

Does anyone remember Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape?

I haven't watched the entire series, only some scenes and stuff.
I am autistic, and personally I didn't feel bothered by it. (whether it bother other autistic people, I don't know)
I could relate to some stuff about her, like avoiding eye contact.

I agree with the part of having an autistic actor playing an autistic character, but I haven't heard of any Korean actor, who is autistic.
I don't mind seeing non-autistic actors playing characters like that, unless I find the portrayal and stuff harmful.

I absolutely love attorney woo, as an autistic person i was actually able to relate to her a lot and I love the actress Park Eunbin (she's also in Hello my twenties)
