I looked up stuff about date formats and I’m facepalming so hard :jisoosmh: First an article tried to show the difference between the format the US primarily uses and the one a lot of European countries (among others) use, which is MM/DD/YYYY for US and DD/MM/YYYY for the European ones. And they picked January first. Which in the US form would be 01/01/2023 and for Europe would be 01/01/2023. They picked one out of 12 days in the year that dont work for showing the difference. Then I went on to read people talking about how the US is dumb and how “the rest of the world” uses DD/MM/YYYY and the US is the singular country that’s different. Multiple people saying that too. It hurts to see people proudly displaying their lack to knowledge and using misinformation to show why they’re so great or whatever. I don’t get it. Go be proud of something factually correct please and stop spreading misinformation to bring others down.
Can’t confirm the accuracy of every single place because I’m not looking that up. But from what I know it looks right
