I remember ifans praising Weeekly for sticking to cute concept in a sea of girl crush (pre-Aespa times). And they were doing decently in Korea. Then they had 2 or 3 more cute comebacks which were ignored. To get noticed they tried a girl crush concept which was also brushed off. Unfortunately they will go the way of CLC with the superficial pity from ifans and Koreans pretending they don’t exist
