I was about to say-middle school that was literally ALL anyone was talking about and they got me to read the books when I was in my "I HATE BOOKS" phase.

This thread confused the hell out of me but the age now makes it make sense. BECAUSE wow that was a whole ass GENERATION of vampire and werewolf fanatics.

Twilight mainly had teens and middle school girls in a chokehold.
You can ask them about the craze surrounded it during that time but if you were a baby, then they were probably grown adults.

Because they were most likely adults when it came out-adults were not into it. This was a teen/tween phase, not an adult phase. The books were beyond popular around middle school for me and the movies when released were super popular as well.

Twilight series is all right! I read the books and watched some of the movies, the first movie offended me for some reason lol, but the last few were done well? I'm that person that if i read the book and then watch the movie adaptation, I won't like it a lot.So I either watch it or read it, or both. DEPENDS. I barely read now a days. (books)

It was a really stupid love triangle atory, which I don't like usually to these days. BUt It's fun.

I hope you really enjoy (or enjoyed) all of the series, especially if you only saw the movies. lol XD
