we're learning about evolution right now. nothing has been more humbling than that. regardless of whether or not we exist- what happens to the climate- the world will go on. it has a cycle, and some people aren't going to be able to change or slow that.

humans will go on trying to fix what they've broken, just making it worse,

it doesn't really give up, it just let's us finish what it started, then it creates life for a new species that can flourish in the conditions that are toxic for us. that's why plants came before humans.
