Why is sleep so hard? (1 Viewer)

Well I have a couple theories why I can’t sleep but I don’t know which, if either of them, are correct. Either way, I just want some sleep, is that too much to ask for?

Girl same, actually sleeping takes me so long even when I'm tired

But like when i take naps in the day, I knockout in like 30sec - 1min 💀

Daytime sleep >>>>>>Nighttime sleep

idk why but I find that I tend to fall asleep easily during the days than during the nighttimes. I guess that explains why I keep waking up at around 2-3am ish everytime I go to bed at 10pm and then try to fall asleep. 🤷‍♀️ And because of this, I’ve recently started going to bed at 9pm because I mean we all need more than 6 hrs of sleep so ^^

I find both difficult, but tonight for me is pretty bad specifically. Frustrating as I’m planning on waking up early tomorrow compared to usual.

I can't either sometimes but with the help of sweets, work, and boredom it comes to me but yet I can't get up quickly
Although I find these as bad habits

Girl, it's 6:30 and you're already talking about sleep??? lol What's your bedtime, eight?

But anyway, to answer your question, maybe get a good nighttime routine - turn off your electronics like an hour or so before bed, drink some herbal tea (I like black chai), put on some ASMR videos, do some breathing exercises, etc.

I posted this at 3 AM last night

And idk if any of those would have helped all that much. I think it’s because I’m sick that I can’t sleep well.
