Nope, PEMDAS means that first you'd divide 6 by 2 and then multiply by 3, since you go left to right.

Multiplication comes first in PEMDAS. Even if the MD being next to each other meant multiplication OR division...both our answers would be correct, which would make math pointless.

Multiplications AND divisions are BOTH done from left to right. One operation type doesn't take precedence over the other.
Then additions and substractions are done from left to right just in the same way.
