Why nugus or smaller companies usually have way worse music than big 3? (1 Viewer)

It's not that all music by big 3 are good but they are mostly way better than Nugus

Most of my playlist is big 3 groups

Is it really that expensive to hire decent producers!!!! Or they just doesn't know how to pick good tracks!!!

I guess its all about money, to hire a external decent composer cost $$ which most companies do not have inhouse, if the group cant write new songs on their own they have to find a decent (more $$) Lyricist which most small companies do not have inhouse. Then they have to set aside a budget for album production (more $$) and comeback expenses ($$$$$), so they are left with only small budget to hire composer + lyricist.

A decent composer, producer, and studio is expensive, most companies really have minimal resources to begin with. They have no choice to take either ripoffs of other songs, songs with terrible mixing and glaring production flaws or tracks with bland, simplistic composition.

and smaller companies sometimes have 1 person

thinking how long it takes to actually create decent music...

and how fast kpop groups do comebacks... norm 2 full album comebacks a year

verse western.. one single every year if lucky

It's personal taste really. I have more nugu songs than Big 3. They do have less money though obviously so that can make a difference

Most nugu's depend on their CEO to write stuff
Also, Big3 have enough money to buy stuff from foreign producers and big names

BAP, Boys Republic, 24k, 3YE, ACE, AleXa, Astro, Oneus, NFlying, FTIsland, and lots more. But I don't like YG groups aside from Treasure at all and JYP groups other than Itzy and Day6. Their styles just don't appeal to me so it's not hard to be better for me.

I agree. Most big 3 groups like to play it safe and it gets boring. Like they've lost the eye of the tiger.

All of Saturday title tracks are fun and upbeat. They know they are nugu so they are trying to get your attention with catchy songs.

I think at some point they just start saving the best for when they need to establish the next gen groups.

Unless something unexpected happens.

None of them appeal to me and their music sound outdated even n.flying music is boring I like their main vocalist tho
