Why was "Gotta Be You" CL feat. Park Bom, Minzy and Dara? (1 Viewer)

As the title says why was "Gotta Be You" basically: CL feat. Minzy, Dara and Park Bom? I mean it could pass off as a solo track for CL

not really, most of the times Dara had less lines indeed, but Bom had a lot of chorus parts

But Minzy was a secondary rapper. So why didn't she get the 2nd rap?

Could be many reasons, I know people hate the comparison but it makes sense in this case, why does Jennie sing more as a main rapper than Jisoo who should sing more than her, etc. etc.

One of A.C.E's songs had Jun sing ALL the choruses and such his lines ended up being like 80s, while the others stayed at around 20s which is a huuuge difference, but imo I can't imagine any of the other 4 singing the chorus, it just fits perfectly for Jun.

I'm sure they tried out different variations of the songs in the studio, but this ended up sounding the best

The line distribution there is really skewed with CL basically getting 2 verses to rap. I really do love Gotta Be You though; it has to be one of my favorites from 2NE1.

just check Can‘t Nobody. CL got huge parts and the others were doing just small ones.

It‘s nothing new that CL got major Rap lines. Go Away had two huge CL raps.
