Why won’t American radio play more K-pop?

BTS was supposed to usher in the K-pop invasion. Where is it?

i've heard butter, cupid, and kill this love in stores, but nothing else and i wish they could play more, but i think another reason might be because even though there are English kpop songs, a lot of the more global songs are in Korean. for example, the most popular skz songs are God's Menu, Thunderous, Maniac, and S-Class, all of which do not have an English alternative. I think they're probably just going to keep playing BTS's English songs and Cupid....still not sure why they played bp, bc that kinda draws away from my point, but it might also be related to how popular the group is. like when kpop started becoming really global a few years back, most people started out with bp or bts, so that might also be why :/
i really wish that they would play youtiful by skz in stores and on radios T^T

I found a website earlier this year, it's called Jango Radio...it's really the only radio station that i know of that plays kpop :/

US radio stations won't play k-pop until they have a financial reason to do so.

one has to remember that whilst certain groups have gotten big
kpop overall is still not mainstream
