do you think bp will just abruptly end out of nowhere and the girls will all lose their individual popularity in the same way as 2ne1..like I’m pretty sure after 2ne1 ended everyone thought cL would pop off as a solo but unfortunately people have paid her solo music DUST same thing with minzy and bom only got negative buzz for her solo because some jobless folks are still mad about her fake scandal from like ten years ago smh the only member of 2ne1 that is truly still relevant is dara.

my personal breakdown of bp is
jennie = cL
rosé = bom
lisa = minzy
jisoo = dara

It depends on whether they're dumb enough to renew their contracts and let their career die like CL did.

Blackpink pretty much eclipse 2ne1 members in terms of individual popularity. And luckily, none of them rely on a kfandom.

Rosé is the least popular and promoted member and look at her now

Tbh, I don't think so. BP is in way better position than 2ne1 in their 5th year and it seems like the new management is going to give more opportunities for the girls. Of course, it's YGE after all, stupidity is kinda their thing but I've seen a change in their ways, so Blinks should give them the benefit of the doubt at least.
Regarding 2ne1 member's popularity, they all suffered for very different reasons but I don't think they're doing bad either. CL has taken a new path that I've enjoyed way more than whatever she released in YG, Bom managed to sell 20k + a couple hits including her collab with MC mong, Miss Dara literally has a tv show for every day of the week and Minzy is the CEO of her own label (with trainees) and a dance academy. I wouldn't say they're eating dust.

BP members have far more individual property, and also fashion deals- 2NE1 only had 5 active years as a full group and this is BP's 5th year already and they're still going strong.
Maybe they won't be around actively in Kpop if/when BP ends but they'll be pretty successful regardless- Jennie or Rose going for a western career wouldn't surprise me, although it won't be easy. Lisa has pretty much Thailand/SEA and China to fall back on and Jisoo might transition into acting, so they won't disappear from the public eye.

I dont honestly know cause although u are popular in group doesnt mean u are popular without it. In other hand 2ne1 end was dragged out and messy. CL was sitting on songs forever, Minzy wasnt given solo opportunities.. hopefully it will be better for bp girls.
