I just got my top 100 replay playlist from this year and was curious of my past ones as well and I wanted to share them all with you because I thought it was interesting. I also threw in some background info with each year for funsies.

2017 Top Ten Played Kpop Songs

The year I got into Kpop, so the artists I listened to was rather limited, especially since I got into the genre near the end of the year. Exo were my ults, Sehun was my ultimate bias and Growl was my favorite Kpop song for years (still is in the top 10 for sure). BTS were also another group I really loved, although I do remember I didn’t like their music at first.

2018 Top Ten Played Kpop Songs

I fell hard into Kpop, all but one song is from a Korean artist. My taste in Kpop became pretty diverse within just a year. My ult group and ultimate bias changed pretty drastically, my ults at that time were BTS, Seventeen and BAP, with my ultimate bias changing from Sehun, to Got7 Mark, and finally to Suga of BTS. I was also a major BG stan and there’s only 5 GG songs out of the 100. Don’t worry I eventually discover the wonderful gems from all the girlies soon.

Other artists who had quite a few songs in the top 100 were Monsta X, Day6, JBJ, History and Winner. Some of my favorite Kpop songs came from this year ngl.

2019 Top Ten Played Kpop Songs

This was another fabulous year music wise for Kpop imo I promise I did discover GG’s this year but unfortunately only one was in the top 10. My ults stayed the same, but as I said I discovered GG’s and listened to a lot of Chungha, Everglow and CLC. I also began to look more into nugu groups.

2020 Top Ten Played Kpop Songs

Would you believe me if I said that the majority of this Top 100 is GG songs? The girlies won my heart, GG’s really have amazing music and the releases this year prove it. This was the year my bias list was attacked by none other than Ateez. Answer became (and still is) my favorite song ever, Yunho joined Suga as my second ultimate bias and Ateez became one of my ult groups.

Answer remains in the top 20 ever since its release like the Queen it is. This year I got really into NCT so a big majority of the top 50 songs are there’s. In general though, Ateez is dominating my top 100 this year.
