my favourite kpop album of ALL TIME
and one of my favourite albums of the century in general. as someone whose entire taste is basically "80s music and whatever sounds like 80s music", reboot feels like it was tailor-made for me. those synth instrumentals on baby don't play, loved and one black night are god-tier <3
while i loved the retro concept revival kpop had in early 2020s, nothing really comes or will ever come close to REBOOT because they stuck to the concept not just for the title track, but for the entire album and in 2025 i'd do literally anything for a full album with synthpop bangers which are all longer than 3 minutes. wonder girls forever
