just a feeling.. when Yujin cut her hair short, Gaeul started to grow out hers. It always gave me the impression that it's a company deicsion that one member has to have short hair and Yujin as the leader kinda sacrified herself to free Gaeul from that role and is growing her back now. Thats why I think none of them really wants to have short hair. But this is just my personal opinion and not founded on anything the members ever said

I just have to keep in mind how Jeongyeon also told she was always forced to have short hair by JYPE and she hated it
