I think everyone who's heard my voice agree that I sound deeper than perceived, and I can talk crazy fast
and then just mouthing jazz music helps with emphasis and rhythm so ig rap for me

I think I have the potential to be a mix of both, but would be more like 80% vocalist 20% rapper because the only song I can rap is Super Bass by Nicki Minaj😂I'm more comfortable with soft, slow songs as that brings out the best of my voice. Loud songs with high notes are definitely not a piece of cake for me.

I sing almost every day and heaven knows how many birds have I killed with my singing on the balcony😂but my friends do appreciate my voice as they find it to be sweet which is contradictory to the hoarse voice I have when I speak (thanks to my Hyperthyroidism health issue🤧)

I tried taking vocal lessons for a few weeks but I don't think I have the voice to be a singer. Based on what my vocal teacher and my mom told me, it sounds like my voice is a bird trapped in a cage: it exists and you can kinda hear it but it sounds muffled, kinda like when you're about to cry and you have that huge lump in your throat that hurts and makes it hard to talk.
I also struggle with pronouncing words and just talking in general (especially when I'm excited/interested in something) but I still think I have a better shot at being a rapper than a vocalist :wonugl:

I've sung for more than 40 years, but I currently have a decently deep voice for a woman, so a Kpop agency would cast me as a rapper; I'd be fine with that, as I've sung songs like White & Nerdy and One Week on a regular basis.
