These tests were given to anyone who didn’t have proof a 5th grade education and didn’t have a grandfather who could vote. Which of course meant than a very large number of white people don’t have to take it, but every non white person who wants to vote does. This was given in Louisiana. There was no answer key of course, instead a judge will look at you and grade based on what the think the “correct answer” is. You were five no 10 minutes for 30 questions. How would you do?

I actually don’t think I’ve seen anyone else answer the first question that way Most people assume they should circle it

And just to be annoying, I’ll grade it in the evilest possible way Since theres no answer key, which means I can say whatever I want.

1. That’s across, not around. Fail
2. It said last word in the line. Therefore you needed to underline word, because that’s the last time word appears in this line. Fail
3. Same as above, it makes even less sense but that’s fine. Fail
4. Should’ve circled a, like in 1. Fail
5. The circle isn’t a perfect circle. Fail
6. Clearly they should have all been concentric, it never said that the third shouldn’t also be engulfing the others. Fail
7. That’s a plus. Everyone knows crosses need to be giving Jesus. Fail
8. The line isn’t diagonal. Fail
9. It said a line, not two. You should’ve drawn a single weird and stupid looking line. Fail
10. Louisiana is the first word in the test starting with L, so it should have been A. Fail
11. The number means that you needed to cross out all the number zeros, because that’s all a number. Fail
12. Doesn’t touch 5, fail
13. Clearly you weren't supposed to cross out any of them, because each of those numbers is made up of individual numbers that are less than 10. For example, 22 is made up of 2 and 2 and they’re not more than 20. Fail

There’s no objective way to pass it, it’s exclusively based on how much the judge grading it likes you. Nina took part of it above and I gave her a 0%, but I also very easily could have justified giving her a 100%
