this is my prespective as someone who has a learning disablilty +other stuff
what if the person has stuff going on and cant talk abt it so they resort to using ai
what if the person is scared to talk to the teacher
idk for me i dont care unless its important stuff like going into med
i personally use AI on assignments if i need help mostly on english to brainstorm ideas

That's understandable but for this group of people, they're constantly saying to the teacher that they don't understand it and they need help. She helps, and they don't listen to her

so if I see someone cheating with ai, I would confront them with it

honestly.... fuck it, yes i would. the way AI has flooded almost every aspect of people's daily lives is getitng on my nerves and people almost seem incapable of doing basic tasks anymore. don't even get me started on the fact that AI answers are often false and cheating through some chatgpt shit will do more harm than good if they actually want to learn something,

I told her. And i completely agree. I've never used ai to my knowledge and don't even plan to. I'm boycotting bc of the environmental aspect and also bc i want to do these things myself

I'd definitely agree in theory, however in real life I'm often too scared to. I have a friend who admitted to using AI to write her essays in another class and I was too scared to say anything. But I'm against AI in general, and I don't think it's fair that some people get better results than they should by abusing AI.

I'm mainly terrified of being seen as the snitch by others 🥲 and before i told who it was, i asked my teacher the question in the thread title and she said that it's only fair if i told
