@HerWifeYerin XMate may very well be precisely what they claim to be. Those were the humble origins of PassCode. Producer Hirachi Koji put together PassCode back in 2013 as a cutesy jpop group. A year later, with a lineup change, the group changed concept to be what it is today. During a few years they were an indie group until they signed with a major record company and grew into what they are today. So I think X-Mate's claims are believable. Now PassCode is a Japanese group while, I think X-Mate is Korean; not sure it could work the same way
