also, I don't think that yg would give a practice room to a group that hasnt even been teased to the public yet.

id rather they don't debut because Blackpink is at the height of their careers rn but i don't think blinks will be as harsh to them... mostly because theyre a girl group and well... I have no issue with that!

That's definitely a possibility. I was thinking that they might just be naming some rooms after colours plus it seems a little weird to put the rookies next door to Big Bang.

They definitely have female trainees practicing in the new building though because iKON said in a V Live that they were next door and you could hear a girl singing in the background (I posted the clip in the tea thread if you wanna hear it). This means that they're close to debuting because the old YG building is supposed to be the training facility now so if they're in the new building that must mean that they're not being treated like regular trainees anymore...

It's been rumoured for YEARS that the new girl group and boy group were gonna debut one after the other so I'm not really shocked but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't debut until August next year because like you say, YG always ends up delaying stuff plus we know they love the number 8 lol
