Lay is on this show where this MC follows a celeb for 3 days. The 1st episode was released and just... HE WORKS SO HARD! TOO HARD!
And it's like he has been working so hard for so long that he has forgotten how to just sit down and rest....

He also doesn't seem to be able to see his own worth.
No matter how good he is, if somebody might be better he has to work harder.
If he could somehow do better, he has to work harder.
If there is even the tiniest of details wrong, he has to work harder.

It doesn't matter what the topic is. It's like he feels like he SHOULD know more about those things.
And he will work hard on them.

For example Yixing is interested in economics and this one university professor said Lay approached him to discuss economics with him.
he said Lay has a whole notebook packed full of notes on those topics + Lay also asked to attend a few of his lectures if he could.

His hard work is to the point that his staff have learnt ways to stop him! (Like turning off the power, taking away laptop etc etc)

He CAN take time off if he wants... he just... doesn't want to.

It is like he can't even see or understand how... Special and unique and just amazing he is.

The fact is he works so INHUMANLY hard that a lot of people find it difficult to believe that is what he is actually doing...
He deserves recognition for his work, for his passion and for his will to practice and practice and practice.
