I was just googling grand slam and rak as I have zero knowledge of what that even is even as a Kpop vet, and I saw on google I think this thread appear lol as I read the title of this thread.

I wonder how they feel now with all this new of what they won. I also think they are already done promoting(?) Which is super fast.

The longer a group is active, the more succesfull they are, the less they will promote on music shows. 2 Weeks is still very normal, but I feel like we had this same discussion last comeback already

I think we have spoken before about the amount of comebacks Nmixx has. I still think this is over way too soon, they had like literally 7-8 show appearances. Meanwhile Le Sserafim is the same age as Nmixx and you can see them promote for literally months on end. And it isn't like Le Sserafim are flops with their 13mil + on Spotify and Nmixx only now thanks to their comeback getting back over 3mil. Nobody will ever change my mind that I think their company Squ4d and all people involved are useless.

It's Squ4d who manages Nmixx tho. Their CEO is a female who got the side company for delivering good work, as result you have these incompetent people. I will flip my lid if they do not debut in Japan soon.

Ah ok, I was speaking based on experience with Twice, they've been pretty bad at promoting them and often fail to capitalize on viral monents but my expectations are also higher for Twice since they're so senior. But it seems the other groups have even less than basic stuff

I can't speak for Le Sserafim, but but overall I just want to say for the artists the music shows are quite stressful, so maybe the members did not want to do a third week
anyways, regardless of if you want individual examples of groups that did longer promos on occasions, 2 weeks is the standard for almost all groups

How is is stressful tho? They wake up at 5am, sit in makeup = able to sleep, do rehearsals, sleep some more, then by 5pm they start to record for real. they basically just sleep and eat backstage or in Sullyoon her case game. I think artists actually like those shows because of the free time they get and able to rest up inbetween schedules. Plus they are able to sometimes see fellow artists of the same company if they also have comebacks, or close friends.

I also don't think Nmixx has anything to say at all. Seeing how they got shoved to that random breast cancer event which in the end got a lot of negative backlash. Nmixx was lucky along with Stray kids and Itzy to due to being busy with schedules that they left and didn't go to the after party of that mess.

It isn't all waiting, as I said they have to do rehearsals too inbetween waiting. Group A on a specific time, then group B etc

I based what I said solely on Nmixx and on someone who gave an actual look at how music shows in Korea work backstage for artists literally had the time slots and showed the waiting rooms and everything, so it isn't like I am clueless. I don't know about you, but if I can sleep backstage and have free time plus hang out and see friends I'd be happy and prefer that over being on a bus, car for 5 hours traveling across the country for a barely 10 minute performance. I heard from Crayon Pop before during their peak, how they had to travel across the country doing interviews and be all over the place and they disliked that because it is too hectic.

Haewon said she goes to bed, or atleast use to go to bed at 4am during comebacks and having to be up at 5am. That's on the idols tho if they stay up late. Kyujin and Jiwoo go to bed before it's even midnight and Kyujin is up super early. I sometimes choose to sleep less too so that is on me. If idols then like Bae or Haewon stay up til passed 3am and having to be up at 5am then you can't really complain.
