"Korean media reported that Yoo Ah In‘s former home in Itaewon was recently bought. What was shocking is that the new owner is a 7-year-old child. According to a copy of the register taken on December 26, 2024, the house was sold for ₩6.30 billion KRW (about $4.32 million USD), and ownership was transferred to someone by the last name Park, born in July 2017.

It was reported that the child did not take out a mortgage loan, having paid for it in cash. It was later reported that the child was born to parents who own a few famous fashion brands. The address matched the couple’s publicly filed address of residence.

They probably put it in their child's name for either tax or inheritance purposes. If the house is in the child's name, the child won't have to pay estate taxes on it when their parents die.
