I've often wondered why Happyface Entertainment/Dreamcatcher Company only manages Dreamcatcher. My spontanous assumption was that the group members (or members of their families) own the company. K-Pop companies are profit-orientated - Economically it doesn't make sense for such company to have just one band under contract, when they can earn more money with more bands at the same time.
having more groups also requires to have more staff though and you need to produce more songs for them, if its a small agency I think it makes most sense to focus on one group and do that one right at lesat (ideal case)
I don't know. But there are/was more artists and groups under contract. Dreamcatcher Company seems to have sublabels (HF Music Company, D1CE Company...)
