Don't blame him. There were 8 other beauties distracting him. So..... nerves and pressure got to him, I guess. I don't know.

He probably needed more than her typical eye-stare to guide where she was.
He probably wanted a bigger signal--- like one of her arms being raised and waving or something.

At least he clutched it at the end and got the shot.

Sounds plausible...judging from the movement, he was clearly doing process of elimination. It's much harder with 9 people vs 4.
