I have heard far too many people (not on here of course, referring to TikTok mainly) say this when someone dislikes an experimental song. People are allowed to have opinions and they’re all valid opinions even if it doesn’t match yours ​

this is why I don't have TikTok. If somebody online said to me, "You're a Sossie (term for 5SOS fans usually used by haters), you shouldn't be talking," I would be so offended! I agree with you - why not just go with "sorry, I don't like 5SOS (or in your cast NCT)"? Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but jumping down people's throats with said opinions is very rude and insensitive.

If some of NCTs experimental songs sound bleh, then other non NCT experimental songs can sound bleh too. And there’s a lot more factors involved in liking a song then if it’s experimental or not.

not specifically related to NCT but in relationship to opinions

yes a person can have an opinion about anything but the question of whether that opinion is "valid" or not depends on the meaning of valid and context

for example lots of people have the opinion that the earth is flat, climate change is a joke, LGBT people deserve to be stoned etc etc

yes I chose some of the more extreme examples but my point is are they all "valid"

and just because someone else has an opinion doesn't mean one has to agree with that opinion and that opinion is subject to challenge and "ridicule"???? if it's extremely wrong?
