Go check out Young Posse’s newest EP with its title track “XXL.” Coming from whatever Macaroni Cheese was which I did not like, this was actually really solid. Like really, really solid.

Young Posse is a rap/pop hybrid blending drill and trap beats with kpop. Pretty much everyone in the group has rap segments. XXL has that old school vibe to it with a killer baseline.

The album opener Scars is a strong, autotune heavy song. DND is chill, something they haven’t done before. ROTY, my personal fave, has a rap flavor to it that works. Skyline is kinda forgettable.

Whoever produced these tracks knows their rap/hip-hop you can definitely tell. Even from their performance styling, it all works. I know Sunhye (girl with short hair) does listen to rap apparently. Overall, solid stuff.

I like pop and rock influences. This song is definitely out of my norm but I vibe after some time
