Just how much money have you spent on Kpop in 2024?


I went into 2024 saying that I wasn't going to spend any money on KPop this year, and then this happened....

I brought IU's The Winning album..... Well, obviously I couldn't ignore an IU album.

I paid over £200 to see IU in London. I believed that this was going to be my one and only chance of finally seeing IU live in concert!

And I preordered IU's 2025 Seasons Greetings.... I simply got it because I love the aesthetics of the concept and IU looks so beautiful in the concept photos!!!

So, yeah. Failed to not spend any money on kpop in 2024. But I did spend it on Queen IU

I remember being in that phase... It gets even worse when you look back on how much you spent, you look at the albums that are taking up storage and you end up asking yourself "why the fck did I spend all this money on stuff that is only gathering dust?"

Meh, I don't see hitting that stage to be honest. I started older and I have a better basis for how these will make me happy in the future. I've honestly never really loved anything like I love kpop. Not even in my younger years. I see myself being 80 listening to my CD's when I'm to physically broken to do anything else. Perhaps in the end the photo books and cards won't hold any meaning to me but the music always will.
But in the end only time can tell.
