I wonder when the next entry will be on this list?

Whenever I am watching a show that I feel could enter this exclusive club of mine, I will spend a significant amount of time afterwards breaking down every part of the series/film (from the world building, character development, plot, animation and soundtrack) and I will critique it all to the smallest detail. I will even re-watch the series/film a second time before making my final scoring. That's just how seriously I take a scoring of 10/10. Because I feel that it has to be a masterpiece that has given me the fullest enjoyment with improvements needed to further the enjoyment that I had.
There has been plenty of 9/10 entries that were on the cusp of being a 10/10, but I'd ultimately decide that they just slightly fell short.... (Oshi no Ko is a good example). And I am also waiting for the day that I can add one of the seasons/films of Natsume's Book of Friends to the 10/10 club (because this is one of my overall favourite shows that has consistently scored a 9/10 with every season/film.

I am not well versed in most/much anime, but I think I like Suzume more than Weathering With You. Your Name probably above those. I don't grade my faves.

I don't fully understand Last Exile or it's sequel Fam the Silver Wing - but I love the airships and the complexity.hmm there's a movie version, am I gonna rewatch the series or jump straight to watch the movie?

I watched Evangelion on VHS in early 2000s from library here but never finished it nor the End of Evangelion. Rlly hoped the rebuild would hv given me the full story but the long hiatus between 2 & 3 then 3 & 3+1 just lost my momentum/memory of the story.

Ofc I liked Miyazaki/Ghibli in the late 90s/2000s but mostly only Nausiica, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service & Porco Rosso. I don't rmbr much from Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle but I'm not as enthused about those 2 as the preceding.later ghibli I'm less interested including boy & the heron.

From long ago I rmbr Marine Boy, Watchman n Kimba the White Lion. Also Space Battleship Yamato altho I don't rmbr watching the end of it on TV.

Those r most of the anime I watched unless u include Akira which I couldn't focus on fully for whatever reason. Also some of Ghost in the Shell.

I await Makoto Shinkai's next project.(but I think I prefer artsy Japanese movies like Kore eda Hirokazu n recently Wim Wenders' Perfect Days, Drive My Car n further back Departures. For some reason anime just doesn't connect for me as much as Western animation/Japanese artsy/indie type movies.)
