Also, he just had to pay a fine and take anger management so yea he did get charged

He pleaded no contest, which means he isn't outright admitting guilt, but basically is guilty. It essentially protects him from his plea being used against him in any civil case. There's a lot of he said/she said going on. Either way, it's not a rumour, he was charged and pled. He and Gigi are also apparently over.
