GD's past lyrics gain attention (1 Viewer)

[bulletproof]

This specific part has more sense now...

'The current affairs of this well-mannered country of the East
So pure, the recent discourtesy was awesome
Pull the roots, it's a conspiracy, go waxin'
"Is it business or a sandal?"
What did you just say, kid?
"We've met before," you say
What? No we haven't
You say, "I'm close with Seungri"
So what?
You ask, "can you give me your number
So that we can have a drink together sometime?
I know lots of pretty girls'

GTea

[yeji]

interesting

[lexus]

Oh shit man

[JoanaIsHere]

I don't get it

[bulletproof]

I don't get it

the first part about the well mannered country is about korean affairs... he's ironic about them being pure
then... Seungri has looots of friends. BB members didn't like a lot of them. So that part with 'i am close to Seungri' may be something related to this. And in the end, the well known girls problem... Seungri's friends seem to have 'a thing' for bringing random girls

[Abeamus]

But does that mean he knew though?

[mirella]

I thought it didn't make sense when it first came out, so I dismissed it as incomplete translation. But wow, GD

[bulletproof]

But does that mean he knew though?

well i think he knew he had bad influence, but maybe not the details, since BB members also said that Seungri is never with them off the stage
and Seungri had another sexual scandal a few years ago anyway so probably he was scolded for that one... he didn't care tho

[QueenB]

But does that mean he knew though?

That's what i'm wondering too....
I mean he could have known Seungri and friends were assholes but not the full extent of the assholeness though

[Abeamus]

Considering this song does shade Seungri i'd guess he only figured as much as Burning Sun and Seungri being involved with that at best since if he'll shade him in a song he probably would have some strong words about the spy cams.

[HaveSomeKookies]

Isn't it baffling? These were actual hints dropped all along - through songs, IG posts, etc. AND WE NEVER KNEW!

[kuro]

well damn o.o

[ForgottenSoul]

But does that mean he knew though?

did he know that seungri was involved with bad people yeah?

Did he know that seungri had chat logs and was doing illegal shit i really doubt it.

This was what someone else posted on AKP, and I'm not a VIP so i can't attest to how true all of it is but

Spoiler

- All the members, especially Gdragon, constantly teased and tore him up about it on camera and how he acted around girls. They said (trying to make it sound PG) "you know how special seungri is... he is a bit obsessed with women. He like women too much."
- Girls were always uncomfortable around him on camera even when they were trying to act professional
- He had that scandal with having a one night stand with rough sex and choking of that Japanese model
- Bigbang constantly criticize him on his shallowness, ego centrism and money.
- In one show, Seungri said what was his main concern and dream was Money to all the hosts and bigbang's embarrassment.
- He praised his own self in thanks in an awards speech.
- Gdragon and other members did not like him at first in the group, GD didnt talk to him for 3 months, because of how smart mouthed, egocentric, low work ethic, superficial, status hogging Seungri is. He wasnt suppose to be in the band initially, he was disqualified, before he wrote a paper on why he should join, promoting himself as the key to the group.
- He was always derided for faking and lieing in stories and acts just for attention.
- The members always cringed when Seungri did aegyo and acted cute because they said they knew just how sexually messed up he was and it wasjust an act for attention.
- The always derided his money spending and lavish parties.
- GD couldnt last an hour at his party before he left and the other members didnt even go.
- TOP even said that he didnt't like the type of people Seungri hung out with as they seemed to be using him for fame and we skeezy.
- GD mentioned seungris sleezy friends advertising him girls in a song.
- He is known for having millions of shady friends of all placesall around the world.
- He is known to be desperate for money.
- He has so many business ventures around the world that fail, collapse or re-made as he desperately with no shame tries to get investments.
- He stores a shit ton of porn on his PC since he was a teen.
- He was so sleezy and gross with that girl group idol in Salty Tour.
- The members get pissed when he hosts their show and tease him because of how fakely professional he is.
- 2 + 2 = 4

I think BB knew more than him just hanging out with shady friends, but it's likely they couldn't really do much about it

[joshuaology]

There's even a video somewhere about BB members pretending to look into the future, and they predicted Seungri wouldn't be a member... oof

These guys are really psychics
