Not want to stan a group because they are from a really small, probably poor company so you don't want to see them struggle/be more likely to disband?

I think in the past I really did that but nowadays I kind of push through that fear if it's a group I like a lot.

not at all, if i like their music i will stan them no matter the company. also sadly all my disbanded faves are from bigger companies

Partly, but also small groups just tend to be less fun to be in a fandom of (less fanfic, fanart, subtitles, etc) so it’s hard to be as invested

Not consciously but if they're from a smaller company i might not come across them at all, unless circumstances happen just right. Also i think it takes the right circumstance for me to stan so if i encounter them n it doesnt spark n i dont come across them much, i wont look for them again. All the rookie ggs rn, i dont rlly search/look for 'em; they just dont impinge on my awareness which might be cos they're not from a large-ish, well known company yeah so it might be tats a reason. But if circumstances strike just right, i might stan without actually caring if they're from a small-ish company. So far hasnt happened yet. All my faves are from not-so-small companies, at least they hv grown larger or were to begin with, idk does Yuehua count as a small company-cos im not sure but i dont think they're considered a small company, as such.

I agree! I started getting into Infinite right when Top Seed came out, and I was like "OOH, RECENT CONTENT - MUST STAN!" and so I waited for their next comeback, and waited... and waited... did I mention I WAITED??? Now it's been like 2-3 years and STILL no comeback, so I unstanned them.

I agree! I started getting into Infinite right when Top Seed came out, and I was like "OOH, RECENT CONTENT - MUST STAN!" and so I waited for their next comeback, and waited... and waited... did I mention I WAITED??? Now it's been like 2-3 years and STILL no comeback, so I unstanned them.

ease of access too, BVNDIT had a ton of content but the main vlive translator left after dramatic so it took way longer for me to get into them

I don't usually think about the company when it comes to liking a group or artist. If it's not really in my face I won't even know a lot of times what company they are with. I can definitely see why someone would worry though. I will probably wonder now though when I start liking a new group.

I feel so bad for the groups and other artists who have been managed by TS, they all went through so much. They all showed so much potential too, I only stanned BAP but Sonamoo and TRCNG had bops.
