Does this not reflect at all? For example, are you a gay man that stans girl groups mostly? Are you aromantic/sexual and still a boy group/girl group stan etc?

I mean, I'm queer so- And honestly, I'm not even sure if I'm still a kpop stan or a casual listener at this point.

it doesn't mean that you're sexually attracted to them necessarily but some people tend to bias groups of a gender that they are attracted to in general. If you want to date guys or are interested in guys maybe you are boy group stan because you like to imagine dating them. I for one am not sexually attracted to anyone in the idol industry but I mostly stan boy groups because I like guys

If this were the case [for me] I would spend more time watching the mvs than listening on Spotify or YT for line distributions. Also [sort of sacrilegious] I do prefer [if I wake up after the mv has premiered] to watch a lyric video before watching an mv so my view of the mv doesn't color my opinion of the song, which can happen sometimes.
