What would take you out of k-pop? (1 Viewer)

Basically like, what would make you stop listening to releases, trying to find new groups, enjoying it as a whole. Obviously there can be exceptions but lets say you just stop liking it. What would be the reason?

I think if I stop relating to the personalities the idols have and/or new groups stop interesting me and all my faves move on into a direction I dont like I would fall out of it. I lose interest fast if there's nothing tethering me to it, so if I no longer like my faves I'd probably stop liking kpop generally. Id listen to songs here and there and once in a while check up on an ult or group, but in the end I wouldn't really care as much

I don’t really know. I haven’t let myself get stuck to one specific genre of Kpop within the groups I stan, so I’m always finding something new within their releases.

I suppose if all my faves disband and go in music directions I don’t like, also if there’s no other groups keeping my interest. I don’t see myself ever completely falling out of love with the genre though.

I'm already starting to dislike it and it's the scandals and companies reaction to them. Longevity is hard to find and it's annoying how easily sth small becomes apology, hiatus, member leaving, disbandment. I'm starting to get into indie artists lot more

nothing, unless i forget these songs exist (it sounds ridiculous but it happens. there are songs i used to be obsessed with and then had to rediscover them years later because my stupid brain just erased them) i don't think i'll ever stop enjoying kpop because to me it's just a music genre like any others i like

Maybe if my faves were to disband, but then there are rookie groups popping out like babies all the time so. There's that.

I think just time really as even if my groups all disbanded I'd still enjoy the music that was out there so it'd have to be a distancing over time
