National tax service will investigate YGE for suspicion of tax evasion: National Tax Service Launches Investigation On YG For Tax Evasion Suspicions

"March 20, the National Tax Service sent investigators to YG Entertainment’s headquarters in Mapo District, Seoul to retrieve tax-related documents. It has been reported that almost 100 investigators were present on scene.
YG Entertainment previously received a regular tax investigation, which is normally held every five years, in 2016. This new investigation is a special tax investigation led by the 4th Investigation Bureau of the National Tax Service Seoul Regional Office.
This investigation is not limited to the finance-related departments but involves a wide range of departments such as performance and marketing."

YGE responded to investigation with: "“We will cooperate diligently with the tax investigation from the National Tax Service.”

I'm confused by the wording of the article. Do they mean this is only for YMS or also for YHS?

I don't want the whole company to go down but the leadership and management needs to be changed completely. YGE is basically a business ran by family and family friends with how long YG has known the artist and top producers like G-Dragon and Teddy. Hell even Jennie's mother is a investor (or rumored investor).

Its to the point they just have a 10+ year old group and one other new group as their leading acts wherever in idol pop or not, with neither among the top 3 acts in any side of industry. WINKON, Lee Hi and AKMU do well when they release once in a blue moon but were never established enough to be brand name artist. Not to mention wasting one of the biggest and most loyal fandoms in Kpop by not promoting the two most popular members, CL and Dara.

Either way, I hope CL leaves come April/May and WINKON does not renew their contracts in 2-3 years.
