Seungri has been summoned for police questioning for allegedly violating restaurant business laws.

On March 21, reports revealed the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency booked Seungri on the charges of violating the 'Food Sanitation Act' for the 'Monkey Museum' club, which he ran alongside former 'Yuri Holdings' CEO and controversial chatroom member Yoo In Suk. During his questioning, he was faced with previously reported suspicions of opening the business as a general restaurant rather than an entertainment bar to lower tax liability.

Despite the illegal practice, which broke the Enforcement Decree of Food Sanitation Law, the 'Monkey Museum' was not investigated by the district office. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Special Detective Division is now investigating whether this oversight is linked to a cover-up by high-ranking police officers.

As previously reported, Seungri has also been investigated for allegations of drug use, providing escort services, and other issues related to the controversial chatroom that included him, Jung Joon Young, CNBLUE's Jonghyun, and former F.T. Island member Jonghun as members.

He definitely should. It pisses me off that he isn't locked up yet despite all the evidence, even though people are thrown into jail before they even get a trial.

To be fair at this point it's very unlikely he will go to jail over anything, I'm surprised even if he gets taken at court. There would need to be some confessions for that to happen, but there hasn't been any.

Evidence against him so far is the Katalk which both him and his lawyer are pointed being taken out of context or fake so they alone won't work as enough evidence. Police questioned some women about the case, but both said they didn't sleep for money with the investors and why would they admit that even if they did, prostitution is illegal in Korea and they would face charges.

He's not being suspected even being part of the hidden cam, date drug, rape/sexual assault, drug distribution etc. stuff.

Monkey Museum is not run only by him, at most he would get fined over tax stuff and food sanitary laws.

Because the police don't have any solid evidence on him for anything, they know he's been doing a bunch of illegal stuff but they can't PROVE anything which is why they keep booking him for different stuff, they're just throwing anything they can find at him and hoping that something sticks.

This may very well be the case. It's sickening to think that someone so crooked could very well get a slap on the wrist and not much else. Sure, his career is over (better be!), but he's got enough money to support himself and live comfortably for the most part.

He's like one of those Mafia bosses that is guilty of so many crimes, everyone knows he is guilty, but for "lack of evidence" he get's let of. Now, I'm not saying Seungri is indeed guilty of everything he is being accused of, but it's very likely he is, and I personally despise the guy and believe he is right in the thick of all this mess for good reason.

I really hope the truth is revealed, and all those guilty are punished accordingly!
