It was one of the few movies my parents let my brother and me bring on vacation though so I watched and got nothing. Except

the pope was evil? Violence? Cross bows? Tom Hanks was a smart dude? The Vatican? And yeah.

But I love action movies and thrillers

It's supposed to be one of the best mystery stories/thrillers ever but it was just too big brain for me then

My parents have the book of it too and I haven't even attempted to read it after that experience with the movie

i went to see dune last week and it was so confusing and boring at the same time. like half of the time i felt like nothing was happening and then the other half there was something happening that i could barely understand, like i sat through that near 3 hour runtime and still even if you paid me i couldn't tell you what exactly it was about but apparently it's easier to understand when you read the book and reading is not my thing so it's unlikely i'll ever do it.

I've heard that the movie was good tbh, but I heard that from people who had read the books so that's probably why.
