i watched whats eating gilbert grape a while ago and i hated the titular character gilbert so much that it ruined the whole movie for me. it also didnt help that they tried to paint ellen as a """"bad sister"""" just because she was written as a stereotypical, shallow teen girl. leonardo's acting was genuinely amazing though, he deserves all the praise he gets for that role

• the fault in our stars - so many people praising it and how emotional it was, i thought it was corny as hell and i always use it as an example when talking about my hatred for movies portraying terminal illnesses. also why the fuck are these teens making out in the anne frank house?
• bohemian rhapsody - got 4 oscars yet it's the worst sh*t i have seen in my life. rami malek's acting skills deserve better than this wikipedia page script. my movie ticket had a typo on it that said "nohemian rhapsody" and some points were made because this movie is a huge no.
• little women 2019 version - like the main character said, women have minds, souls... and fatal sickness from interacting with poor people literally once. this movie lacked a plot and confusing editing doesn't make the director a genius, it just ruins the viewing experience for someone who isn't familiar with the source material

Babe. lol cute movie, but EVERLY. LAST. TIME. we'd have movie time at summer camp, the counselors would always choose THAT one!

Maybe not exactly hate; but I tend to prefer the Harry Potter movies not directed by Yates. I find Yate's directing style anti-climactic in some ways.

oh, and idky but I just CANNOT get into Juno, even though I SHOULD like it bc romantic comedy... idk. Plus, the beginning with the multiple scenes thrown at me all at once was really confusing. Like, one minute she's talking about a discarded recliner, and the next she's at the store buying pregnancy tests, and then back to the chair, back to the store... ughhhhhhhhhh!

It wasn't even scary-- Don't get me wrong I'm a sucker for horror movies but this one wasn't it. I just can't put my finger on it but there's something about this movie that makes me stop it at the 30-minute mark bc it's so BORING!

The LOTR movies because the books are way better and Halloween, it was so boring. Oh and Elf, him getting bullied reminds me of my past and kind of triggers me.
