There's concept changes that have worked for groups in the sense they haven't actively been hurt by it like SNSDs most successful album came from The Boys while Gee is their best performing digitally and they are two different concepts but as far as groups not succeeding previous changing concept for success it's mostly with sexy concept groups like EXID wasn't successful until they changed concept and released Up & Down.
