As some others I had hoped it was just banter between friends but as it obvious seems now it wasn't. It sucks that Jae betrayed - is that the right word to use in this case? - their friendship like that. What Jamie said in her tweet is completely right as well. If he like said it when both of them went out together to eat or if he said it before to her without her minding it (which he seemingly never did, so calling her that was really out of the blue)

The thing with Jae is, he spoke about how he wanted Jae and Eaj to be separate people, but he has to realise he can’t do that. He also said he’s going to meet up with the other Day6 members once their enlistment is done. He needs to realise that he can’t do things like this as ‘Eaj’ and then in 2024 waltz right back into being ‘Jae’ and join up with the others again without anybody noticing. That’s just not how life works, especially in this age where clips like this one spread like wildfire.

He needs to basically now decide who he’d rather be and go with it. I love him and his voice as Day6’s Jae, and if he releases an album I’ll no doubt get it and love it, but he has to work with us rather than push us away. I hope the people who are working with him in LA rein him in rather than enable him to say more stuff like that, but I fear it’s probably the latter.

Definitely agree with you too, he can't just waltz back into DAY6 pretending like nothing ever happened as eaJ and be Jae again. It's like running away from your responsibilities

Jamie’s response was well said, and it’s frustrating that in 2022 women still have to say it.
As for Jae, he rightly clarified his situation on twitch, which as a MyDay I was thankful for. Whilst 2024 is about right for a Day6 (or whatever they’ll call themselves as they seem to be pulling a Highlight rather than a GOT7) comeback, he needs to always keep that in his mind.
Right now he seems to have forgotten about it already, and just wants to game all day everyday.

I feel like jae doesn't have a filter.
not like he's being real with the fans, but he doesn't know what to say and not say in front of the camera.
i think he's a good person he can't keep saying/doing things that are hurting others like this.

It seemes like she was upset at the usage of the word in a joke publicly, because it's commonly used by incels on twitch/4chan, rather than being mad at Jae.

Again we really can't tell if Jae has ill intentions by it, since we don't know what they joke about in private. Jimin is really crazy I can really see them joking much worse than that in private. I hope people will just leave him alone.

Just like how Bambam and Yogi joke, they say sexual jokes to eachother, or call each other ugly etc... it all depends on the level of bonding.
