Have your parents ever been called to school due to your grades / behaviour? (3 Viewers)

When I was 14, once I got to class late. I didn't know who the principal was because I had just gotten into high school a few days before. She was talking to class and I assumed she was a teacher. She asked me why I was late and I said i didn't yet have a school bus. She asked me: "So whose fault is it?" And I said: "The principal"
So she called my parents, roasted the hell out of me for that and for wearing makeup. Next week I was like fuck you and changed my school to a private one lol.
That was one of the many times, then again public schools which I had attended to for most of my life had snowflake staff. It never happened again once I changed.

My answer:
Well sort of, ig I was the only girl on a behavior contract in 1st grade and one of only like 5 kids total for example, they prob told parents of all the kids on them.

It wasn't anything actually bad I did it was stuff like sit still and don't fidget, don't talk to others when you're supposed to do your work, don't get out of your seat and do other things. So obviously I had a much bigger problem with all this stuff than the average six year old. Then the teacher would mark "yes", "so-so" or "no" on each of the three things each day and I had to bring it home to my parents to sign. I felt so guilty whenever I got 3 no's like I didn't deserve to be happy that day 3 yeses was a rarity.

I also had to be moved to a special class for troublemakers in pre-school because I was too hyper to sleep, and couldn't pay attention and do my work in class. The teacher in the troublemaker class was really nice tho, he helped me learn better

Then later, I got diagnosed with ADHD, I guess at that time adults didn't know how to deal with it, I wasn't trying to cause any trouble
