List of things LaMe Entertainment has tried to pull so far:
* Tried to force Daniel into a third-party contract, where he'd be under LM, but handled by a third-party (supposedly it's MMO, the same label he was under PD101 S2) instead. This is essentially a slave contract because he can be made to do anything, and he'll have no one to protect him (this would no longer be LM's priority since they tried to sell Daniel's right behind his back by ten times of amount they paid for his contract without informing him).
* Applied to trademark Yoon Jisung's legal birth name, if he ever ends up leaving LM before his contract is over, he can never use his own name again as an artist.
* Created over 200+ bot accounts that were spamming #KangDaniel_Settle on Twitter while never trending. A lot of accounts were only made in March, other accounts were inactive and started posting only then. Someone associated with LM wrote an article afterwards how fans want Daniel to remain in LM (which is obviously bullshit given his treatment).
* A lot of accounts spammed pictures with #KangDaniel_Settle written on it in Daniel's official Daum fan cafe as well. All these accounts were made on March 4th and were already levelled up. His fan cafe's level-up was closed to the fans January 31st, though.
* Tried to smear his good name by involving him with Seungri who has a scandal. Daniel has no relation to Seungri apart from appearing together with him on Radio Star and Seungri visiting W1's final concert (this doesn't mean he was there for Daniel or invited by him). There's evidence of LM editing older articles written about something else related to Daniel to make it look like they're all new articles, that also includes an article about Seungri.
* In an article about his supposed visit to Hong Kong to see a certain woman who probably doesn't even exist, LM staff used a picture of the time W1 was in HK, but blatantly edited out Minhyun's face to make it look like Daniel went there alone.
* Faked staff chats where Daniel is called lazy and rude to the staff, also target his looks by calling him a thug and his Busan dialect (as if these are the things he can change) and compare him to Ong Seongwoo (Daniel was closest with him in W1.. they really are disgusting). This is a smearing campaign and hopefully, no one buys it
* Took away his IG account (the one he broke Guinness World Record with), don't let him post anywhere. The only more positive updates we've got about him were from ELLE and his lawyer. He even had to change his phone number and cut off contact with all his friends, including W1 members, so they'd be protected and couldn't be asked about him.
