I think I know what’s going on .
I don’t think it’s hacking btw.
Basically some people sell their verified channels after they either stop getting traction or are done with them. This is basically a quick way to make some cash ngl.
This issue was prevalent with solely YouTuber channels that got bought by comment bots but it looks like it’s seeping into kpop now too.

and this isn't their main channel. It's the auto-generated "topic" channel that youtube creates for musicians to put the albums on. Same with TRCNG, it wasn't their personal channel, just the topic one.

since it's an auto-generated by youtube channel and not one made by a company or anything I doubt anyone sold it tbh. The group has been disbanded for over 3 years too

No one is selling their YouTube channels lmao, nor are they getting hacked. This has actually been happening quite often with other groups. YouTube auto uploads the songs to a topic for YouTube music or something like that and often, official channels don't claim the topic, and fans usually subscribe to the topic not knowing that it's not run by the official channel. Then people see the high subscriber counts and claim the topic for themselves
