If you preview a comment before posting it the tags rarely ever work. I found this out a while back as I used to preview my larger comments (that had tags) quite a bit before posting. I realised people weren't getting tagged so I stopped previewing my large comments and just posted them.


If you didn't preview the comments before posting, then not sure why your tags weren't working.
