Rewatching clips of gp999 far more than its first time.

I kinda like some of the girls' i was looking at then even more even if they have no shot.

and i have a clearer understating of why Mashirio, Yeseo and some of the winners really caught my attention.

Even when preforming songs i really dislike. like say Hikaru who only did 1 song i watch again.

normally i post vocal numbers but.

honestly gp999 would've been a cute show if mnet painted a clearer picture of what they were gunning for and tried to uplift contestant rather than make it a competition of "everyone sucks but you suck the least" which it ended up turning into
they could've also done a better job with editing
more screentime =/= more fans, it's the story they sell the role they play within those stories that makes certain contestants more compelling (joungmin was robbed though, she was so cute and they could've played her up more)
it didn't help that a lot of people were fresh from the chinese style of survival shows which made the in your face type of editing a lot more jarring

Yep there was some great stuff in the show and really way too many qualified girls.
its is sad that political tension scared the show producers from editing more kindly. they were going to make villains' and winners but it was so heavy handed, or just vapor screen time.
i despised the cell voting system because it was the most artificial, worse it really hindered my chance to get to know the girls in real time.

as i watch bits over, there were stars there that earned the help but got hosed.

yeah if I had started the show knowing no one and only paid attention to the show, apart from chaehyun and dayeon, the rest would be nobodies
the cells and country voting made everything super lopsided too
