I think it's not wrong to say that blackpink are basically the face of the girl crush concept. I mean when the majority of people think of girl crush, the first group that comes to mind is blackpink...

I'm not saying that they created the girl crush concept, but I think that blackpink has influenced the girl crush concept and has kinda revived it in a way? if that makes any sense.

yeah, that's kinda why I said revived because there weren't really any other girl groups (other then 2ne1) who had this type of influence for this type of concept.

yeah there definitely has been a blackpink print on some of the girl groups who are doing girl crush concepts these days.

For sure. We had a slew of sexy and cute concepts going around, and the few girl crush groups were ignored for the most part. YG knows how to do it right tbh.

In your opinion, what do you think about CLC's concept?

hmmm, the girls are talented, but they dont stand out. they kinda just blend in with the other for me. I think what sets blackpink apart from the other girl groups is that they really own the girl crush concept. the whole vibe that they give off is just something that other girl groups haven't been able to give me, there's something with blackpink that doesnt make them blend in with the other groups doing the same thing. and I think that's maybe why theyre so special, it's hard to explain but there's just something about them that catches my eye. and I think that's what CLC lacks, the vibe and power to catch my attention, they just kinda blend in with everyone else.

Yeah they definitely did. 4D's impact was massive and now companies are looking to re-create that formula with their girl groups.

You know when twice and gfriend re-popularized cute concepts everyone was crying. Watch this era go on for 20 years and no one will complain. Ifans are weird people.
